HCT’s founding members, husband/wife duo Jon Babu and Kelly Donohue, met in Boston back in 1991, where both were working toward getting music degrees from New England Conservatory of Music.  Flash forward a few years, and they moved to Rockville, Maryland, and had a son named Jack.  Flash forward a few more years, to Jack’s 5th birthday.  Kelly, who had been writing and performing her own music for years, poured over the entertainment options for her son’s party and thought – I can write kids’ music!  So Jon and Kelly combined their conservatory training with their love of all things wacky and silly, and Here Comes Trouble has been rocking the DC area with ever since.

HCT songs incorporate a variety of musical genres, from funk to punk to rockabilly to rock and roll.  We are lucky to have a talented cast of characters with us as we stomp and chomp our way through our repertoire:  Matt Wise (guitar), Teo Lee (bass), Cindy Huang (vocals) and Jennifer Jones (vocals).  Put everyone together and watch out – Here Comes Trouble!
